Climate Change
Climate Change is an abstract vision of the changing environment of the planet earth. I'm attempting to make a social statement with this piece showing mans environmental impact through the release of carbons and other pollutants and how it effects life on the planet earth. It must be my engineering and technical background that makes me believe in facts and statistical data over simple faith. I believe that the earth, is man's and all living cells vessel of travel through space and time. The planet is our space station and should be treated with the same integrity that the international space station for the astronauts and scientist that borrow it.
I have used color to show warm and cool. The brighter colors of the sun and upper atmosphere represents the warm. The texture represents pollution on the earths surface. The lower atmosphere is a darker color depicting the man made carbons and trash causing the the earths climate change and the warming of the surface of the oceans and land. The wave is used to represent the fact that its not to late to change direction and wash and clean the atmosphere.
I have attempted to show unity through bright and dark colors depicting warm and cool and variety through different geometrical shapes and colors.
